The combination of face frames to the floor, inset shaker doors, and “tobacco wood” counter and shelves really worked in this open-plan row house. The unit to the left of the bookcases is a coat closet + shoes below, and overflow closet above. Weighing in at just under 16 feet long, proportioning of elements and details were established to create visual interest without overwhelming the room. Very nice customers to work with. One thing you don’t see is the out of level floor and out of level ceiling running in the opposite direction. I had to split the difference when leveling out the cabinets, and then pad down the ceiling above the closet.
